Icy Nicy respects the privacy of everyone who uses its website. This document explains what information we receive when you browse the site, place an order, request a quotation or contact support — and what we do with it.
This policy covers only the official Icy Nicy website and the services connected to it. If a link takes you to another website (a payment gateway or a social network, for example), that service's own privacy policy applies to you there.
By using this website you acknowledge and accept the terms set out below.
We only collect what we genuinely need in order to serve you. The data falls into two groups: what you give us yourself, and what is recorded automatically as you use the site.
- Identity and contact details: full name, mobile number, email address and company name.
- Delivery address: province, city, postal address and postcode — only for orders that require shipping.
- Order and quotation data: selected items, requested capacity, quantities, payment status and invoice history.
- Tickets and correspondence: message content, support requests, product reviews you post and any attached files.
- Account data: username, a one-way hashed password and personal settings such as your wishlist.
- Automatic technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, visit times and cookie identifiers.
Our aim is accurate service and fast support. No data is collected or kept without a clear purpose.
- Reviewing and processing orders and issuing quotations and official invoices.
- Arranging shipping, on-site installation and commissioning of your machine.
- Answering questions, support tickets and after-sales service requests.
- Authenticating you when you sign in and keeping your account secure.
- Improving site performance, fixing errors and understanding user needs through aggregated statistics.
- Notifying you about order status and — only with your consent — sending our newsletter and technical tips.
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser so the site can recognise you on later visits. We use cookies to keep you signed in, preserve the contents of your cart, remember your language and display mode (light or dark), and measure usage.
We may also use web analytics tools to understand how the site is used. That data is reviewed in aggregate and statistical form; the purpose is never to identify you personally.
You can restrict or delete cookies in your browser settings. Please bear in mind that some features — such as the shopping cart or staying signed in — may then stop working correctly.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not hand it to third parties for advertising. Sharing happens only to the minimum extent needed to deliver a service you asked for.
- Freight and courier companies: your name, phone number and delivery address, solely to bring the order to you.
- Payment gateway and bank: the data needed to complete the transaction. Your card details are never stored on our servers and are entered directly in the gateway's secure environment.
- Technical staff and service agents: contact details and machine specifications, in order to carry out installation or on-site service.
- Competent authorities: only in response to a formal, documented request from a lawful authority, within the framework of applicable law.
We retain your information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or for as long as tax and commercial legislation requires us to keep it.
Order records, invoices and warranty documentation are normally kept for several years to support after-sales follow-up and legal obligations. Support tickets are retained until the service case is closed, and for a period afterwards for reference.
Once the retention period ends, data is deleted or anonymised so that it can no longer be linked back to you.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections, one-way hashed password storage, restricted staff access to data and regular backups.
No system on the internet is entirely immune, however. We recommend choosing a strong, unique password, never sharing it, and telling us straight away if you notice suspicious activity on your account.
Your data belongs to you. You may exercise the following rights at any time, and we will act on your request as quickly as we reasonably can.
- Access: ask for a summary of the information we hold about you.
- Correction: change or complete inaccurate or outdated details, either from your account panel or through support.
- Account deletion: ask us to close your account and remove the associated data, apart from records the law requires us to keep (financial documents, for example).
- Opting out of marketing: unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, with no effect on your after-sales service.
- Objection or complaint: raise any concern about how your data is handled through our official contact channels.
This website is designed for businesses and adult users, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the legal age. If we learn that such data has been submitted without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete it.
This policy may be revised as our services change, our technical infrastructure is updated or regulations are amended. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the latest revision shown at the top.
Where changes are substantial, we will try to notify users through the site or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after a new version is published means you accept it.
To request access, correction or deletion of your data — or to ask anything about this policy — use the form on the Contact page or the phone numbers and email address shown in the site footer.
To help us act faster, please include your name, the phone number registered on your account and a clear description of your request. For sensitive requests such as account deletion, we may verify your identity through the registered number before proceeding.
